About Kazia
Kazia received her master’s degree from Palo Alto University where she focused on psychodynamic therapeutic frameworks, family systems, emotion-focused therapy and couples’ therapy. She has worked at The Maple Counseling Center, seeing a diverse clientele with a wide range of presenting issues and diagnoses. In addition to her formal training, Kazia is also a co-founder of a popular parent support group in Los Angeles, helping hundreds of families navigate the unique challenges and joys of parenthood.
Kazia is an empathetic, non-judgmental therapist who strives to help her clients better their lives through self-actualization and through the power of the therapeutic relationship. Her style is open, curious, and collaborative as she works closely with clients to help them gain personal insight and process old wounds, as well as recognize and address maladaptive patterns and behaviors. The humanistic and Rogerian approach she works within informs how she meets her clients’ needs: with compassion, non-judgmental support, authenticity and dedication.
Originally from Louisville, KY she now lives in the heart of Los Angeles with two lovely kids, a wonderful husband, a sweet little dog and three 3 chickens that produce 3 beautiful eggs every day.
